Doors ghosting when open. Ghosting is when the door does not remain in a set position when open.

Rafters pulling away from the ridge beam in the attic space of the home, or rafters twisting or breaking.

Foundations

Do you know that a minimum of 4 inches of your entire foundation must be exposed at all times, if your exterior walls are bricks, or hardy plank siding boards. If the siding boards on your home are wood, standards require that a minimum of 6 inches of the foundation be exposed.

The soil around the foundation should also slope away from the foundation, this is to help prevent water from pooling around the foundation.

Preventive Maintenance

Do you know that preventive maintenance should be done on your roof every 2-3 years.
Preventive maintenance can help prevent your roof from aging faster than intended, and leaking.

Exteriors

Did you know that the caulking around the interior and exterior side of your windows, light fixtures on the
exterior side of the home should be replaced every 3 years, this will help maintain the energy efficiency of the home.

HVAC/Air

Did you know that your HVAC system should be serviced every 6 months, this is to help the a/c system perform at
its maximum capability, while helping prevent costly repairs.
