Do you know that there are multiple ways of inspecting your foundation without looking at the physical foundation.
General
Cracks going through the floor covering material (Tiles).
Cracks in the top corners of the wall material over the doors and windows throughout your home.
Doors and windows throughout your home jamming when attempting to open and close them.
Doors ghosting when open. Ghosting is when the door does not remain in a set position when open.
Rafters pulling away from the ridge beam in the attic space of the home, or rafters twisting or breaking.
Foundations
Do you know that a minimum of 4 inches of your entire foundation must be exposed at all times, if your exterior walls are bricks, or hardy plank siding boards. If the siding boards on your home are wood, standards require that a minimum of 6 inches of the foundation be exposed.
The soil around the foundation should also slope away from the foundation, this is to help prevent water from pooling around the foundation.
